FairPlayTube Usage Terms

Welcome to FairPlayTube! By accessing or using our video-sharing platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Usage Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FairPlayTube (“Platform”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Usage Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

2.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform.
Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation with any person or entity.
Upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
Use the Platform to harass, stalk, or otherwise subject another person to unwanted or inappropriate behavior.
Engage in any conduct that is harmful or disruptive to the Platform or its users.
Upload or share AI-generated videos, deepfakes, or any content that is misleading or manipulative.
Upload or share videos that you do not own or have legal rights to, including copyrighted content.

3. User Conduct and Content

3.1 Truthfulness: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and in your profile. Misrepresentation of your identity, age, or any other personal details is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

3.2 Behavioral Standards: You agree to behave respectfully towards other users. Harassment, threats, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in a ban from the Platform.

3.3 Content Monitoring: FairPlayTube reserves the right to monitor and review user content and communications. We may remove or edit any content that violates these Usage Terms or that we find otherwise objectionable.

4. Termination and Legal Action

4.1 Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by ceasing all use of the Platform and deleting your account.

4.2 Termination for Misconduct: FairPlayTube may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Usage Terms or is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, misrepresentation, harassment, and inappropriate behavior.

4.3 Legal Action: In cases of severe misconduct, such as harassment, stalking, or other unlawful activities, FairPlayTube reserves the right to take appropriate legal action. This may include reporting such activities to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement, and cooperating with them to ensure the safety and security of all users.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” FairPlayTube disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FairPlayTube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Platform; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

7. Governing Law

These Usage Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FairPlayTube operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8. Changes to Terms

FairPlayTube reserves the right to modify these Usage Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
